Quiet Time is a spiritual reflection app. We care about your privacy and handle your personal data with the same gentleness we encourage in your reflections.
What we collect
When you use Quiet Time, we collect: your email address and display name (for your account), your reflections, prayers, and Bible notes (the content you create), Bible reading progress and saved verses, group membership and shared content, and basic usage analytics (page views, no personal tracking).
Why we collect it
We use your data solely to provide the Quiet Time service — to save your reflections, show your spiritual journey, enable group sharing, and track your Bible reading progress. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How it is stored
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (cloud infrastructure). The app is hosted on Vercel. Both services maintain industry-standard security practices.
Third-party services
Google OAuth (for sign-in via Google), Supabase (authentication and database), and Vercel Analytics (anonymous page view counts, no cookies or personal data).
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: locale (your language preference), timezone (your device timezone for accurate dates), and authentication session cookies managed by Supabase.
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, all your data (reflections, prayers, notes, group memberships) is permanently deleted.
Your rights
You can access all your data within the app. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Under GDPR, CCPA, and Korea's PIPA, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data.
